Zone I - Sedimentation at the Scale Pit

Main Functions: Scale Pit

• Eliminate the biggest particles (> 200 microns).
• Bigger scale is collected with a clamshell bucket and it is stored later in a selected area to be dried or it is direct placed in a container.

Main Functions: Receiver Pool

• Conduct the water with small suspended solids from the last stands of the rolling mill to the decanting basins.
• At the receiver pool a grille is installed to avoid the arrival of unexpected elements such as as big waste products, mechanic materials, etc.
