[En curso] Russula suministra la nueva planta de tratamiento de agua de Brandenburgo

Russula supplied the engineering and electrical equipment for Nucor Corporation's new water treatment plant for the 1.2 MTpy thick plate plant being built in Brandenburg, KY, USA. This is the largest single capital investment in Nucor's history and ranks as one of the largest ever made in the state of Kentucky.

The water is treated and cooled in the non-contact, contact, and laminar circuits for the plate mill. Russula supplied the civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering package, electrical and control equipment, and on-site services for the water treatment plant.

Russula's engineering solutions save time and reduce costs. Engineering development of support structures and piping using 3D software reduces construction interference between engineering disciplines. Stand-alone power control rooms with pre-assembled MCCs inside drastically reduce assembly and installation time in the field. Leveraging decades of experience and comprehensive process knowledge, Russula provided robust automation and drive solution that reduces energy consumption.

Plate production is expected to begin in late 2022. Nucor Brandenburg marks the 26th water treatment solution that Russula has sold worldwide. Russula was very pleased to receive this contract and participate in making history with Nucor.
