Computer vision for rolling mills – Flexible installation

Computer vision is a field of artificial intelligence that offers much faster image recognition capabilities than humans.
Using digital images and videos from cameras, computers are able to interpret the visual world.
Hot Metal Detection, loopers, shear cut, stand gap, and cobble. – All can be accurately detected and measured with our computer vision solutions.
Our goal is to increase productivity by replacing existing sensors installed in the mills, such as hot metal detectors and loop scanners with CV sensors, which offer much more valuable information. Therefore hot metal detectors and loop scanners will soon be part of the past since we believe that in the future, there will not be an autonomous rolling mill operating without computer vision.
