In July 2024, Novelis commissioned Russula for the engineering, equipment supply, and startup of two reverse osmosis water systems, the first for the CCL (Coating and Finishing Lines) and the second for the HM&CM (Hot Mill & Cold Mill).
The CCL system will have a process pumping capacity of up to 110 gpm, with a reverse osmosis water production capacity of 43 gpm. In the case of the HM&CM, the reverse osmosis water production capacity will be 143 gpm, with process pumping capacities of 306 gpm for the cold mill and 562 gpm for the hot mill.
Both systems also include the supply of water storage tanks for both feed water to the reverse osmosis units and reverse osmosis water (demi water), as well as water pumps for internal circulation and process supply.
