Alacero Summit 2022

The annual conference of Alacero takes place since 1959 in order to achieve that the steel companies are prepared to respond not only to the needs of the market, but in a particular way to the demands of the Latin American society to advance the development of ethical and responsible business practices, and thereby contribute to the industrial and socioeconomic growth of the region.

With an average of 800 participants, the event offers lectures with updates on current issues and generates a clear networking space by reinforcing the links in the productive chain, generating debates on the issues that impact the sector.

In these six decades of history, we have changed the name and the headquarters. We had reinvented ourselves to continue as the focal point of the steel industry in Latin America, offering a strategic planning on issues that affect industry, including economic issues, environmental and sustainability issues. We understand that a thriving steel industry generates jobs, drives growth, cares for the community, and acts directly for the benefit of a healthy economy. And this year we are even more committed to promote discussions about these issues and encourage the use of steel in architecture and in construction, encouraging the adoption of technological solutions and signing the commitment to sustainability.
