Large turnout at Big River Steel presentation during AISTech 2016

Juan Kessler, Russula's Water Solutions Product Manager had a packed room for the presentation on Big River Steel´s Eco-friendly Water Treatment Plant during AISTech in Pittsburgh.

Planned to be operational in 2016, the new water treatment plant will treat and cool an average flowrate of 30,000 m3/hr of water from the, Meltshop, Caster & Hot Strip Mill, Laminar and Cold Mill. The main design objective was to build a plant that is both efficient and ecological. During the presentation Juan Kessler highlighted the selection of energy efficient equipment in an easy to maintain layout that impacts every area of the steel complex.
