Juan Bermúdez Sirvent, Digital Product Manager at Russula, presented Mill Pulse® during Perspectives on Rolling, Steel Times International’s rolling webinar.

Delegates attending Steel Times International’s rolling webinar learned about accelerating product development and process stabilisation, digital platforms and the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in the process of optimizing flat and long product quality. They also gained knowledge of the role of Industry 4.0 technologies linking process and maintenance with business goals, and gained a greater understanding of the causes of work roll degradation.

Juan Bermúdez Sirvent, representing Russula, introdued Mill Pulse®, a digitalization tool designed to improve steel production by interlinking the process and maintenance with business goals.

Mill Pulse® Suite is Russula’s solution oriented towards process digitalization for Industry 4.0, to help steel producers improve competitiveness and performance by effectively obtaining and using data obtained from a wide variety of sources. Mill Pulse® is a powerful system specifically designed for hot continuous rolling processes, providing a very precise analysis, necessary for proper decision making at the manufacturing level.
